The ECT4Health Suturing for Health Professionals workshop is ideal for nurses, doctors and students wishing to learn or refresh the suturing techniques for closure of lacerations. These suturing courses also includes refining the infiltration technique using local anaesthetic, understanding the latest scar management evidence and is ideal for rural and remote nurses, junior medical staff and medical practice nurses wishing to include suturing into their scope.

The ECT4Health Acute Deteriorating Patient Seminar is a two day program which overviews the assessment and management of patients with a range of presentations that represent acute deterioration. Throughout the Acute Deteriorating Patient Seminar we discuss physiology, assessment and management of patients with surgical and medical problems.  It is inevitable that we care for people who deteriorate, nurses need to be a step ahead and recognise the subtle signs of deterioration.  This course seminar is jam packed full of so much that you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it earlier!
