Rusty Pills 1 Online Education Series
The ECT4Health Rusty Pills 1 Online Education Series is designed to assist paramedics and nurses with their knowledge of common medications in their practice.
We work with patients with many co-morbidities and the ever increasing incidence of polypharmacy is a common issue.
This seminar focuses on pharmacology of many common drug classes and dives into physiology of the conditions they teat. The online series tracks the learner through pharmacodynamics and kinetics, anti-infectives, anti-inflammatories, analgesia, acute and chronic cardiac, hypertension, renal, diabetes and respiratory drug therapy.
We finish with antidepressant, antipsychotic and antiemetic drug therapy.
