To truly offer a holistic approach to the care of complex patients, nurses should embrace the raw sciences that inform and justify decisions when time is critical.  The ECT4Health Advanced Physiology seminar refreshes those sciences.

Advanced Life support (ALS) certification is  highly sought after. It remains a competency required by many nurses, paramedics and medical staff.  This program is a mixed mode program built on ARC/ANZCOR guidelines. It builds on Basic CPR and the automated use of a defibrillator that the annual BLS program offers. The ALS course is recognised by State, private and nursing agencies in Australia.  

The ECT4Health Acute Deteriorating Patient Seminar is a two day program which overviews the assessment and management of patients with a range of presentations that represent acute deterioration.

This one day seminar is designed for nurses working in Aged Care to refresh their clinical assessment skills to improve their confidence in dealing with acute changes that can occur in the elderly population.
